Sea water desalination project
The desalination plant comprises pressure exchangers, high-pressure pumps, seawater RO membranes, pressure vessels, pressure filter vessels, electrical, HDPE pipelines, automation and control systems. The project encompasses infrastructure where the seawater is collected.
The raw seawater pre-treatment contains up to 6.4ppm aluminum and around 50NTU of turbidity, that includes coagulation-flocculation, gravity and pressure filtration.
Post the filtration, the water is pumped to the plant, and then is preliminary treated. The water is then passed through the RO membranes at high pressure. The membranes filter out salts and pass on the desalinated water.
The water filtered by the RO system is passed to post-treatment process. The fresh water is flavoured and then stored in an underground water tank.
The RO plant produces 100mld of desalinated water from 273 million liters seawater.
The system can be quality approved and reliable only if its parts are of finest quality. The use of genuine parts that are brand recommended can significantly increase product’s life and prove out to be highly cost effective in the long run. The spares can be easily replaced in the maintenance process as these are easy to install screw-able filters and are provided with extensive guidance plus demo of usage. Hi-Tech Authorized Spares can be used for adding life to your product.
